Insider Says “Grey’s” Will Jump the Shark Next Season

“I don’t know what it is,” said the show’s creator Shonda Rhimes. “I can literally do whatever the hell I want with these people, and fans just come back for more. It must be the good soundtrack and hot men, because not even I can see what else this show has going for it anymore.”

Rhimes also doesn’t rule out creating some more spinoffs after the success of “Private Practice.” “I’m thinking about a show that revolves around Dr. Bailey’s toddler, and all the drama three-year-olds have. I like the idea of a Derek Shepard spinoff called ‘Love Shepard,’ where he is a vet who helps patients with their love lives. ABC will literally let me do whatever I want at this point.”

When asked if Rhimes was worried about the show being canceled, she said: “No way. I came up with all the story lines for the past two seasons on a mescaline-induced drug weekend in Death Valley. People still flock to me. I am a TV Golden God.”
