NEW YORK, NY - If you’re excited for the May 30 premiere of “Sex and the City: The Movie,” you may not get what you paid for.
“There is no sex in this film whatsoever,” director Michael Patrick King tells SCNN. “Zilch. I wanted this movie a little less fab, and a little more real. All the women are in their forties at this point, and really, I’m pretty sure people don’t have sex at that age.”
King admits that part of the decision to exclude sex from “Sex and the City” was to earn the coveted PG rating. “If we can get the girls aged 9-12 interested, we create an entirely new fan base for the original television show, not to mention a new generation of women solely interested in expensive shoes, Cosmos, and yes, eventually, casual sex.”
