Sneak Peek: “Sex and the City” Has Neither Sex Nor City

“I think it’s great,” says Chris Noth, a.k.a. Mr. Big. “Do you know how hard it would have been to get my body sex-scene ready? They probably would have had to spend a fortune on body doubles. And, I mean, I still win because I get to make out with Sarah Jessica Parker anyway.”

Equally shocking was the revelation that “Sex and the City: The Movie” contains no footage of New York City. “Purely budgetary,” says King. “With all this economic slow-down, the Big Apple was out of the question. We relocated all the characters to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We do mention New York a lot in the script - Carrie in particular misses it a lot. We wanted the plot to still be realistic, so we had everyone move to be closer to Samantha’s ailing grandmother, who is also played by Kim Cattrall.”
