CHARLOTTESVILLE, W.Va. — With a stirring pair of songs, Syesha Mercado won the West Virginia democratic presidential primary Tuesday night, but it’s not expected to matter in her quest to dethrone Idol frontrunners David Cook and David Archuleta.
Mercado, according to judges, did not do enough on Tuesday night to find her way into the finals and oust either Cook or Archuleta from their destiny as Idol 2008’s finalists. However, because she “really admired the way that this girl is trying,” democratic presidential nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton has announced that she’s giving up her 20 West Virginia primary delegates to Mercado.
“Look, these 20 delegates, they’re not going to do me any good in the election,” Clinton said. “So I figure, why not try and help someone out who could really use them. In giving these twenty votes to Syesha, I’d like to show exactly how much I support the idea of a woman winning American Idol and also the value of sticking with it until they tell you can’t participate any more.”
According to officials from the democratic national committee, Clinton actually has no legal right to give the delegates to Mercado. Also, according to a source close to Idol, the 20 delegates wouldn’t make any difference on the final results.
Our source said, “even if each of those delegates was attached to 20,000 real human votes, it still wouldn’t make a difference. And even if Syesha did find a way to worm her way into the lead of the voting, we’d probably just lie and say that she lost. I mean, everyone wants to see the two Davids in the finals, right? And by everyone, I mean us.”
Mercado was humbled by Clinton’s generosity.
“I really don’t know what to say,” Mercado said. “Hillary has just been so generous to me over the years. At the end of it all, this
experience has just been amazing. People have just been so sweet. And now, to find out that I’m in third place not only in the Idol voting but also in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination? Well, that’s just really special.”

PROOF OF AMERICAN IDOL FRAUD!!!!
This is the second year in a row that American Idol has had a songwriting contest. Since the contest ended last year I’ve researched the contestants from last year and this year….FYI there were over 25,000 entries last year at $10.00 for each song. 20 songs were then chosen out of the 25,000 for an online vote. The winner’s song is then performed on the American Idol Finale. The problem I have is that one of THIS years Top 20 Finalist is a Co-writer of LAST years Top 20 Winner.
Somebody from American Idol has some explaining to do.
THERE IS A LOT, LOT, LOT MORE!!!!!
