Do the judges have similar reservations about LOLcat’s win? “This dude is great, dog,” said Randy Jackson. “He’s a cat, dog. He is the most improved and look at that face. How could you say no to that face?”

Judge Paula agreed. “LOL is so beautiful,” she said, tearing up, “I just, he’s, and, God, fwah fwah I’ms so happeez -” Paula proceeded to fall asleep with her head in her ~~rum and~~ Coca-Cola. Persnickety Simon Cowell took the opportunity to grab Paula’s microphone for his statement.

“Bloody Hell,” he said. “This is a CAT. Doesn’t anyone realize this? He can’t sing. He can hardly talk. I knew America was full of bumbling idiots when they fell in love with Clay Aiken and Sanjaya, but this is a whole new level of stupid. I’m going back to London, bollocks.”

LOLcat is of course not letting the negativity get him down. When asked what he plans to do to celebrate his win, he replied, grinning, “I can has cheezburger?”
