LAS VEGAS–America is rejoicing today as a Nevada judge has ruled that, by law, the new movie “What Happens in Vegas” can only be shown in the state of Nevada, and specifically within the city of Las Vegas. The decision brought with it bringing unchecked joy to the faces of millions of moviegoers who might have otherwise wasted three hours of
their lives and $30 seeing the film.
The movie stars Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz as a couple that get married on a drunken Vegas night, win a jackpot, and then get sentenced to carry out their marriage for several months by a judge (played by Dennis Miller).
“As a judge, it’s my job not only to enforce the laws of the land, but also, when appropriate, to protect our societal norms and standards of decency,” said Jonathan Storpin, a circuit court judge in Nevada. “The rule is, ‘What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.’ Everyone knows this. So why anyone thinks they can take this movie and broadcast it around the country is beyond me. What the hell is happening to our society?”
Diaz, who was famous at some point in the past 15 years, was reportedly extremely dismayed at Storpin’s decision. “I don’t understand why he’s enforcing this rule so aggressively,” she said. “I know what happens in Vegas is supposed to stay in Vegas, but it never does. I mean, my god, I know about every woman that K-Fed has nailed in Vegas over the past three years. And now you can’t see my movie?”
Storpin stood by his decision.
“To be blunt, K-Fed’s sex life is actually far more interesting than this movie,” he said. “I’ve done significant research on both.”

most of the romantic comedies i’ve seen with Ashton Kutcher have been pretty good, A Lot Like Love is another example
