Nick Hogan Enjoys Male Bonding in Prison

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – Nick Hogan knew he would learn a lot about life when he was sentenced to eight months in jail for his role in a car accident last month, but he could never know he would learn this much.

In between making complaint-filled phone calls to his parents, Hogan spoke to SCNN about his time in jail.

“I know I come off as remorseless, but I really have gotten a lot out of this experience,” he said. “I used to think I knew what love between two men was – me and my dad have a great relationship. Now I know I had no idea.”

Hogan explained he’s known as what is commonly referred to as “fresh meat” in jail. He added he hopes the relationships he has formed in jail will last him a lifetime.

“I hope this isn’t a wham, bam, thank you Nick kind of thing,” Hogan said. “I’m not that kind of prison bitch, I have feelings too.”

Hogan said an especially important part of his experience has been the friendship offered to him by his new pimp, Big Phunk. Without Phunk, Hogan said, he would be doing more male bonding than he is physically capable of.

“Phunk’s been great, he’s really flexible and works around my schedule,” he said. “It’s not like, ‘Hey Meat, you’ve got a 5:00 appointment with Ricky.’ Instead, he comes to me first and asks when I’ll be able to do my male bonding. It’s really nice, actually.”

It’s gone so well, in fact, Hogan now says he’s even considering a career in professional male bonding when he is released.

“Phunk gets out about the same time I do, and he’s made it clear that he still owns me even outside of jail,” Hogan said. “I mean it’s doubtful I’ll ever become a professional wrestler like my dad or a singer like my sister, so I might as well do what I’m good at. And in the last month I’ve discovered that I’m pretty damn good at male bonding.”
