Paris Hilton Deleted Kim Kardashian From Her MySpace Top 8

Today’s top entertainment news: SCNN has learned that Paris Hilton removed Kim Kardashian from her Top 8 friends on myspace.com.

Celebrity analysts from across the country agree that this subtle gesture not only speaks volumes, but it is also a potential catalyst for the biggest Hollywood showdown since Jennifer Aniston vs. Angelina Jolie.

“Paris knows exactly what she’s doing,” said Sheree Jones, west coast editor of Life and Style. “With the entire world always watching her every move, deleting Kim from her Top 8 is a no-holds-barred declaration of contempt. Just as two stags circle each other and then collide repeatedly, so Kim will need to retaliate in order to establish her place in the starlet social order.”

Long-rumored to be rivals, Paris was recently quoted as saying that she thought Kim had an unattractive and enormous rear. When the news broke she quickly retracted the statement.

“Paris is a genius strategist,” said Peter Wilcox, a conflict-area correspondent for The New York Times. “By removing Kim but not deleting her completely as a friend, she has basically thrown the ball into Kardashian’s court and dared her to sling the first on-the-record public insult. I plan to deploy to Beverly Hills as soon as I can, before this gets so out of hand that nobody can fly in anymore. This is going to get ugly.”

SCNN was unable to contact either Miss Hilton or Miss Kardashian, though Kim’s sister Kourtney did issue the following statement: “Myspace? That’s so over anyway. If Kim does anything it’ll probably be throwing a sheep at Paris on facebook.”

SCNN was unable to substantiate rumors that this is all a publicity stunt for Paris’s new reality show where contestants vie for the chance to be her best friend. “Totally ridiculous,” said Paris’s PR rep. “If Paris was just doing this for publicity she would have bought a new puppy, named it Kim, and then punted it.”
